In Leaf, you can choose to either search for a company/product, or scan one when out in a shop.

This is designed so that it isn't just for using while shopping. We want to make Leaf something you use to find out how you can make changes to your current items, or products you were thinking of buying.

How does it work?

1. The scanner itself uses simple lines and numbers that are easy for a computer system to decode.

2. The app then needs access to the devices camera and relevant permissions to use it.

3. An external API is used to gain access to the product informationm, or this can be linked to Leafs database.
